This Privacy Policy explains how FruDAO Fit collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our app. By using FruDAO Fit, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email, and onboarding details (age, gender, height, weight, fitness goal, and equipment). We also collect the data you log in the app — meal photos and nutrition data, workout logs, progress photos, measurements, and activity in challenges. Authentication data is provided by your sign-in provider (Apple/Google) when you connect.
We automatically collect limited usage data such as device type, app interactions, and crash reports to operate reliably, troubleshoot issues, and improve features. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
To create and maintain your account, personalize workout and meal plans, track your progress, calculate streaks and achievements, process subscriptions and payments, send optional reminders, provide AI coaching, and secure and maintain the service.
Meal photos, logged foods, and chat messages may be processed by AI models to estimate nutrition, generate feedback, and tailor recommendations. This processing is used to deliver and improve your in-app experience. Avoid uploading images or messages containing sensitive personal information.
Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Payment provider tokens and subscription status are retained to manage your access and billing.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help operate the app (e.g., hosting, payments, AI, analytics) under appropriate confidentiality obligations, or when required by law. Challenge and leaderboard content you choose to share is visible to other participants and, if you post it, may be shared externally via the share features you control.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from the app, after which we will remove it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You can manage most of this directly in the app, or contact us to exercise these rights.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data against unauthorized access.
FruDAO Fit provides general fitness and nutrition information for educational purposes only, and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the app is a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any fitness or nutrition program, and with any questions about a medical condition. We do not store or process medical records; any health-related data you log (such as weight or photos) is provided voluntarily and treated as described in this policy.
FruDAO Fit is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us so we can delete it.
The service may be used from various regions. If you access the service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
